Job Title: AEO & SEO Content Specialist
Location: Team Valley, Gateshead. Office-based role — No remote or hybrid working
Hours: Full-time, permanent, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm
About the role
CyberPowerPC UK is looking for a AEO & SEO Content Specialist with a strong focus on AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), with SEO as a secondary skill. This role is about creating clear, helpful content that answers customer questions and improves how our brand appears across Google, AI search, featured snippets and comparison-led searches.
You will help gamers, parents and PC buyers of all kinds find the right information faster. From FAQs and buying guides to landing pages and blog content, your work will support organic growth and improve trust in the CyberPowerPC UK brand online.
Key responsibilities
AEO: Primary focus
· Research the questions customers ask around gaming PCs, components, upgrades, performance, delivery, warranty and support.
· Create and optimise answer-led website content, FAQs, blogs, buying guides and landing page copy.
· Structure content for clear answers, featured snippets, AI search results and voice-style queries.
· Turn technical product information into simple, useful content that helps customers make confident buying decisions.
· Recommend content formats, FAQ structures, internal links and schema opportunities that improve answer visibility.
· Track AEO and content performance using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush and Ahrefs.
SEO: Secondary focus
· Support keyword and topic research, with a focus on search intent and useful content.
· Optimise metadata, headings, internal linking and on-page content across the website and blog.
· Assist with competitor research, content gap analysis and technical SEO recommendations.
· Support link-building and external content opportunities where relevant.
· Prepare reports on organic performance, content results and new opportunities.
Content and PPC support
· Write, edit and publish blogs, landing page content and supporting website copy.
· Work with marketing, product, web and design teams to keep content accurate and commercially useful.
· Repurpose content for email, social media and other marketing channels where relevant.
· Provide light PPC support, including keyword research, ad copy, landing page feedback and performance checks.
Skills and experience
Essential
· 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, content marketing or a similar role.
· Strong writing skills, with the ability to make technical information clear and easy to understand.
· Good understanding of SEO basics, search intent, content structure and on-page optimisation.
· Interest in AEO, AI search, featured snippets and how customers search for answers online.
· Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO platforms such as SEMrush or Ahrefs.
· Strong attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Desirable
· An interest in gaming, gaming PCs, components or wider tech.
· Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar.
· Knowledge of technical SEO, link-building or outreach.
· Experience supporting PPC campaigns.
Personal attributes
· Curious, proactive and willing to learn as search changes.
· Confident turning data and customer questions into useful content ideas.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced in-house marketing team.
· Able to balance helpful content with commercial goals.
