Apprentice Parts Advisor - Hexham

Description

As a company John Deere is renowned not just for itsmachinery, but also for its outstanding parts and service support.

Your apprenticeship teaches you how to manage John Deeressophisticated parts systems, run a profitable retail environment, merchandisegoods effectively, and understand the value of John Deere products and theimportance of selling on quality rather than on price.

In contrast to the Ag Tech and Turf Tech apprenticeships, the John Deere PartsTech apprenticeship programme is delivered mainly in the workplace, i.e. at theJohn Deere dealership where you are employed.

Workplace training is supplemented with one week a year at the John DeereApprentice Training Centre, Nottinghamshire.

Duties include

Promoting and selling parts and/or services to meet customer needs both face to face and over the phone.
Supplying Service Technicians with parts as required.
Identifying parts through a variety of catalogue systems to provide quotations for a range of agricultural equipment.
Assisting with preparing and maintaining merchandise display within the showroom.
Receipt of incoming shipments
Following up on shortages and accelerates issues by reporting to the Depot Parts Manager.
Executing sales parts marketing plans and shares ideas for future campaigns.
Executes telemarketing sales operations.
Maintains control of inventory management, invoicing and other administrative tasks.
Assists in keeping parts inventory clean, orderly and well organised.
Processing payment transactions
Hydraulic hose identification and manufacture
