Fridays Limited are looking for Weekend Farm Workers to join our free-range poultry team, working across multiple farm sites within the business. This varied and hands-on role combines poultry stock work with egg collection duties, helping to maintain the highest standards of bird welfare and egg production.
The successful candidates will assist with the day-to-day care and management of our free-range egg-laying hens, alongside collecting, handling, and washing eggs from our egg-laying equipment. Flexibility to work across different farm locations when required is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day care and management of free-range egg-laying hens
- Monitoring bird welfare, health, and performance
- Collecting, handling, and washing eggs
- Maintaining and checking farm and egg-handling equipment
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and biosecurity
- Recording and reporting daily information accurately
- Supporting the wider farm team where required
We are looking for someone who is:
- Practical and hands-on
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Flexible and willing to work across different sites if required
- Observant with a strong eye for detail
- Able to maintain high personal and workplace standards
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, or a similar practical role would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidates.
