Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual with strong experience in Autodesk Fusion 360 and 3D printing. While a degree is not essential, candidates must demonstrate substantial knowledge and practical ability in the required areas.
This role is integral to supporting multiple departments across the business, turning digital designs into functional prototypes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine 3D models using Autodesk Fusion 360 for production.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printers (FDM, SLA, etc.) to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the wider business by:
- Assisting the design team in producing physical prototypes from digital concepts.
- Creating jigs, templates, and bespoke clamps for workshop joiners.
- Developing tools and tool adaptations for site teams.
- Producing scale models for architectural projects.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and engineers to solve technical challenges and improve designs.
- Test and iterate prototypes, providing feedback on manufacturability and material selection.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
Additional Duties
- Keep the workshop clean and well organised.
- Maintain and service tools and equipment.
- Manage stock levels and carry out stock takes.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks required to support the business.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Fusion 360 (essential).
- Practical experience with 3D printing technologies and workshop tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proactive attitude and passion for design, prototyping, and continuous learning.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites when required.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with additional CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Rhino).
- Familiarity with laser cutting or other digital fabrication technologies.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
