Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Bread Baker to join our bakery team. This role involves preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of our artisan bread products during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and experience in food production, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to food safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare doughs and batters according to established recipes and specifications
Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently during the night shift
Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent product quality
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in ingredient stock management and inventory control
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Conduct quality checks on baked goods before packaging or display
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or bakery environments
Knowledge of cooking techniques, baking processes, and kitchen safety standards
Previous experience in culinary or restaurant settings is advantageous
Strong understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene practices
Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision
Organised, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure
