About The Role

We have an opportunity to join the Škoda team as the Head of Product Planning on a Permanent basis

Reporting to the Brand Director, you will be responsible for bringing Škoda products to market in the UK. You will lead the development and implementation of a product marketing strategy that creates a new car product portfolio and positioning sufficient to achieve our new car sales and profit targets. You will also be responsible for Škoda’s new car sales planning, supply planning and commercial tactical incentive planning across all channels to ensure the brand achieves sales and profit targets.

You will be the key point of contact for liaising with Škoda HQ to ensure agreement of our product strategy and sales and production volumes and take responsibility for the delivery of the new car sales target through coordination and steering of the Sales operations teams to achieve the agreed new car sales targets of the Brand.

This role forms an important part of the Škoda leadership team.

Skills & experience you can bring to the role:

Experience of leading and motivating a team and demonstrating strong leadership qualities
Ability to manage performance and deliver results through others
Ability to think creatively and strategically to see “the big picture” and yet retain attention to detail
Ability to manage a budget in a constantly changing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels
Ability to create and maintain effective business relationships
Commercial awareness
Automotive experience – understanding of sales planning and product strategy
