We are seeking an enthusiastic Girls’ Sport Specialist to support and elevate our girls’ sports programme across both Cranleigh Senior and Cranleigh Prep.
In this role, you will deliver outstanding coaching, foster player pathways, and act as a positive role model within a high-performing sports environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach & Develop: Deliver engaging sessions in hockey, netball, cricket, and tennis, including small-group and individual athlete development.
- Inspire the Next Generation: Run outreach sessions and masterclasses at feeder prep schools to promote our sporting provision.
- Performance & Fitness: Support strength and conditioning programmes and assist with fitness testing and sports scholarship assessments.
- Community & Pastoral: Contribute fully to the wider life of the school, including tutoring and pastoral care.
What We Are Looking For
- A strong background in girls’ sport, particularly hockey and/or netball.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire young athletes of all abilities.
- Experience in strength and conditioning or athlete development (advantageous).
- A commitment to high standards of pastoral care and safeguarding.
- This role is ideally suited to a professional athlete or a postgraduate with a background in sporting excellence.
This role is available from Mid August 2026. This is a fixed term appointment for one year.
