Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
Provide excellent patient care by preparing patients for treatment, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently using IT systems.
Ensure that all dental equipment is sterilised and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
Support the dental team in administrative tasks, including managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dental practice to promote a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications.
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Familiarity with IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
