Plate Mounter – Print Team, Permanent

We’re currently recruiting for a Plate Mounter to join our Print Team on a permanent basis. Whether you have previous flexographic print experience or are looking to start a new career, we’ll provide full training and a supportive environment where you can thrive.
This is a hands-on production role with responsibility with strong attention for detail for preparing accurate printing plates, maintaining high standards of safety and quality and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
You’ll play a key role in supporting efficient print operations, ensuring plates are mounted accurately, stored correctly and maintained to the highest standard to keep production running smoothly.
To be considered for this opportunity you’ll need to be able to demonstrate:
- A strong focus on health & safety and attention to detail
- Accurately mount flexographic printing plates using specific equipment.
- Inspect plates and tapes to ensure quality standards are met prior to production.
- Maintain plate storage, ensuring plates are cleaned and organised correctly.
- Work closely with printers, ink technicians and Shift Managers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness within the department
- Perform basic equipment checks and report any faults and damaged plates.
- Willingness to learn and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Previous flexographic print or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential

Shift Pattern:
Continental shifts - 4 on, 4 off
- 2 days (7am–7pm)
- 2 nights (7pm–7am)
- 4 days off
Weekend availability: Required
Annual leave note:
The Christmas shutdown is a planned closure each year. For Christmas 2026, colleagues will be required to use a portion of their annual leave allocation to cover the shutdown period.

Location: Lincoln LN2 3QF – must be able to commute or relocate prior to starting. Own transport is essential due to the remote location.
