Physiotherapist Post

2 x FULL TIME (37.5 hours per week), Specialist / B6 equivalent Pelvic Floor and Women’s Health Physiotherapist in dedicated and rapidly expanding private clinics located in Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Employed Physiotherapist £32,000 pro rata – increasing up to £40,000 once training/competencies complete (usually within 6 months). Paid holiday and in-service supervision and training plus £500 per year towards CPD. Evenings and weekend appointments are essential with this patient group, so flexibility is essential. Hours include every Sunday/Monday off and 1 Saturday per month in clinic (Tuesday-Friday base hours).

Ideally you will have experience working a Pelvic Health Caseload but CPD in this area without experience will also be considered as full training is provided. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be passionate and enthusiastic about their work.

Generous appointment times of 75 minutes for a new patient and 30 minutes a review – each with 10 additional minutes admin time. We are very passionate about delivering high quality care with the luxury of time. Opportunities to mentor junior staff as the clinic grows.

Essential Criteria:

· Experience working in Musculo-skeletal physiotherapy / outpatients at experienced Band 5 / Band 6 level is essential.

· Excellent clinical reasoning time management skills.

· Excellent evidence-based practice and knowledge base

· Drive and commitment to deliver first class private physiotherapy.

Desirable Criteria:

· Pelvic health physiotherapy experience / shadowing / student placement

· POGP CPD courses

· Pilates / Yoga teacher training

· Acupuncture
