Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in construction-related trades is highly valued, and a commitment to quality workmanship is essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry. All local work, Long term employment.

Duties

Must be able to lay green mineral, rubber, felt and tiled roofs etc
Pitch roof tiles
Flat roofs

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing or related construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, or plumbing is preferred
CIS Needed
Drivers License needed
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in roofing tasks
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to working at heights and on construction sites
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to varying project requirements. A valid UK driving licence is also beneficial but not essential.
