Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment.

Duties

Serving customers and stock rotation (front shop)
Maintain the front shop
Actioning pharmacist requests efficiently
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and receiving deliveries.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with regulations.
Ensure that the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Participate in ongoing development to enhance knowledge of pharmaceutical practices.
Manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience

Previous pharmacy experience is highly desirable/required.
Familiarity with patient care practices is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
