Title: Warehouse Driver / Operative

Responsible to: Operations Supervisor

Location: Shepperton

Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 0700 - 1300, 5 days per week.

Type: Permanent

Salary: £19,250 (£28,000 pro rata)

Accent Services specialise in maintaining critical air conditioning and chiller equipment. We ensure customers’ assets remain compliant and in optimum condition. Our engineers are very well trained, and our technology platforms are highly advanced. Our processes are refined and bring systems and people together to maximise efficiency and help us keep pace with growing demand.

Accent Services are based in Shepperton Surrey and a separate regional office in Warmley. We employ more than 45 mobile engineers and 45 office-based associates. With ambitious, yet achievable, plans for growth we are a company that provides tremendous opportunities for anyone with a strong work ethic and determination to constantly deliver exemplary service.

Purpose of the Role

The post holder will be responsible for warehouse support and will contribute to the smooth running of the warehouse and the deliveries in line with the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Be a driver for all deliveries and collections.
Be responsible for advanced route planning for deand collections
Perform pre trip inspections of vehicle safety, including the logbooks.
Load/unload all equipment/materials and properly secure all loads, adhering to workplace health and safety.
Provide excellent customer service during all deliveries.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts, delivery confirmations and any required signatures.
Contribute to planning and implementation of warehouse operations.
Take on additional duties as required by the Lead Warehouse Operative.
Provide cover to the Lead Warehouse Operative ensuring key tasks and responsibilities are actioned.

Desired Skillset and Characteristics:

Full clean driving licence
Good communication
Good organisation skills
Knowledge of workplace health and safety
Ability to work within a small team
Experience working within a warehouse would be advantageous
Ability to drive in and around London
Able to work extra hours/provide cover on occasions
