Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a professional kitchen environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Chef de Partie will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen and supporting the head chef with daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or fish station
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stock levels and ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
Support junior staff with training and guidance as required

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a professional kitchen setting
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary styles
Ability to serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
