Job Overview

Duties

Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, freshness, and timely service
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high performance levels
Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth serving operations and excellent customer service
Assist in menu planning and ingredient ordering to optimize kitchen efficiency and reduce waste
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to safety guidelines at all times

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of staff
Deep knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
Experience in food production within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
