Team Leader – Wiltech Acoustics

Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of fabricators and platers, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
- Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech’s high standards.
- Review and interpret technical and engineering drawings to understand required structures and materials.
- Assist welders by preparing plates for welding and supporting during welding processes.
- Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
- Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
- Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
- Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proven experience in structural fabrication environment.
- Competent in using engineering measurement equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to production demands.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
- Hours - Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance).
