We are designers, developers, and retailers of toys, sports, leisure, home, and garden products. The business is looking for a dynamic, Videographer/ Photographer to join our team to develop content across Tandem Group.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Videographer and Video Editor who can capture high-quality video content and edit it to create compelling visual stories. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a creative mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We do have an inhouse studio with editing software however having your own equipment, including a camera, is a requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and produce high-quality video and photography content for a range of digital platforms.
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging visuals, incorporating music, graphics, and motion effects.
- Leverage AI tools where appropriate to enhance efficiency and elevate video and image quality.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, internal standards, and project deadlines.
- Collaborate with marketing and trading teams to define project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
- Own and manage shoot planning, including location sourcing, coordination with parents and child models, and maintaining the internal model database.
- Oversee and maintain video equipment, studio space, and product readiness for photoshoots.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- A tenacious, confident self-starter, with an appetite to make things happen.
- Hands-on with a desire to support colleagues with their expertise underpinned by strong communication skills.
- A good eye for detail and an organised approach to projects.
- Responsibilities must be performed under fast-paced conditions, so the candidate must be able to multi-task multiple product categories, prioritise and be able to handle quick turnarounds.
- IT literate with a good understanding of the Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc).
- Proven experience as a Photographer, Videographer and Video Editor.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightrooms, AI).
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous videography and editing work.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current video trends and shoot locations in and around Birmingham.
- Hold a full driving license, with confidence to drive manual geared hire vans to location shoots
- Own your own camera and video equipment.
