Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Powder Coater/General Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, applying powder coatings to various products, and supporting general operational tasks. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our coating processes, contributing to the overall production workflow. Prior experience in powder coating is a must. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the coating industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required
Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent application of coatings
Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, maintenance, and minor repairs of equipment and products
Assist with loading and unloading materials using warehouse equipment such as forklifts or trolleys
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety standards
Perform routine inspections of coated products to ensure quality standards are met

Experience

Previous experience in powder coating or wet painting is essential
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are required
Knowledge of warehouse operations or logistics can be an asset
