Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Amusement Arcade Attendant to join our vibrant entertainment centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience by maintaining the arcade machines, providing excellent guest services, and managing daily operations. This role offers an engaging environment where hospitality and cash handling skills are essential to deliver memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with using arcade machines and equipment
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the arcade area
- Operate and troubleshoot arcade games to ensure smooth functioning
- Manage token or card systems, including sales and reloading
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure safety protocols are followed by all visitors and staff
- Restock supplies such as tickets, tokens, or promotional materials as needed
- Some heavy lifting will be involved
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests of all ages
- Basic technical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot arcade equipment
