Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Nurse to join our dental practice.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Dentist providing chairside clinical assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
Preparing and sterilising dental equipment and instruments.
Have a warm friendly caring approach to support our patients.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
Handle patient check-in and check-out processes with organisational precision
Ensuring compliance with cross infection control and health and safety regulations
Support the dental team with general administrative duties as required
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using IT systems, accommodating patient needs and practice requirements.
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and provide accurate information regarding treatments and appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Assist with patient care by providing relevant information and ensuring their comfort during visits.
Process payments and handle administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and updating patient details.
Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean reception area.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Basic IT literacy, including experience with dental or medical management software is preferred.
Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude and a genuine interest in patient care.
Ability to work well within a team whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
