We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to inspire and educate students across KS3 to KS4 in a main stream school in North Norfolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging science & mathematics lessons, fostering curiosity, and supporting individual learning requirements. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver comprehensive science lessons tailored to the curriculum and individual student needs
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with disabilities and special educational requirements
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure inclusive learning experiences
- Support students with additional needs through personalised tutoring and behavioural support strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behaviour
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during lessons and activities
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching science at primary or secondary level
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Prior experience in tutoring or providing additional support to children, including those with diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of toddler care or working with young children is advantageous but not essential
- A recognised teaching qualification is preferred; however, relevant experience will also be considered

Pay: £150.00-£223.00 per day
