Full job description

Job Title: Freelance/Part-time CAD / Kitchen Designer / Interior Designer

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Studio located in North-East England)

Hours: Part-time (Flexible hours, approx. 2 - 4 hours per week to be increased in time)

Salary/Rate: Competitive hourly rate based on experience in the region of £15 per hr depending on experience.

About Us:
We are a growing, independent kitchen and interior design company based in North-East England. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful, functional, bespoke spaces for our clients. As our project pipeline expands, we are looking for a skilled, part-time CAD Designer who can also offer other interior design skills to help bring our concepts to life.

The Role:

This is a highly flexible, part-time position that can be done entirely remotely or on a hybrid basis. You will work closely with myself to translate initial briefs, sketches, and site measurements into professional, client-ready 3D renders and technical CAD drawings, as well as putting them into a client presentation package.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce and curate accurate 2D floor plans, elevations, and 3D perspectives with realistic visuals.
Render photo-realistic images of kitchen and interior layouts.
Amend drawings efficiently based on client and design feedback
Put together mood boards for clients based on a brief.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential: Strong proficiency in Articad and Canva (or other presentation platforms)
Highly Desirable: Ability to create mood boards and put presentations together for clients.
Background or current study in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
Ability to work from sketches and technical briefs independently.
Excellent communication skills and reliable time management.
Must have access to your own computer setup capable of running CAD software.
