Full job description

As a Control & Safety Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize industrial automation and safety systems that ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient operations for our customers. You will play a key role across the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through to commissioning and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Design & Solution Delivery

Design and develop control and safety system solutions (e.g. DCS, SIS, PLC) based on customer requirements and industry standards
Perform feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate design concepts
Translate technical and business requirements into robust engineering specifications

Implementation & Commissioning

Configure, test, and deploy control and safety systems at customer sites
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
Ensure systems are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards

Standards, Compliance & Safety

Apply and contribute to engineering standards, specifications, and best practices
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. functional safety, IEC standards)
Conduct inspections and assessments to verify system integrity and safety

Project & Stakeholder Management

Execute tasks within project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Act as a technical point of contact for customers during project delivery

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies
Contribute to innovation initiatives and digital/automation advancements
Support knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across teams

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare clear and accurate technical documentation, reports, and specifications
Maintain project documentation in line with quality and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Control Systems or related)
Proven experience in control and/or safety systems engineering within industrial environments
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEC 61508 / 61511) is an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
