Part Time - Reservations & Guest Relations Agent

Destiny Scotland Apartments – Edinburgh

Destiny Scotland Apartments is an award-winning serviced apartment provider based in Edinburgh, welcoming both leisure and corporate guests for short and long-term stays. Serviced apartments are one of the fastest-growing sectors in hospitality, offering guests a true home-from-home experience with space and comfort for solo travellers, families, and groups alike.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Part Time Reservations & Guest Relations Agent to join our friendly and supportive team on a part time basis.

The Role

This is a busy and varied office-based role where you will play a key part in ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless journey from booking through to check-out.

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Days: 3 days (24 hours) per week on a rota basis, covering Saturday and Sunday and a week day.
Flexibility: Required to help cover holidays and additional days when needed

Key Responsibilities

(Include but are not limited to:)

Ensuring a professional and seamless guest journey from booking to check-out
Providing a warm, welcoming experience for guests visiting our office
Managing reservations, payments, guest enquiries, and customer feedback
Delivering a proactive sales culture within the office
Running reports and maintaining accurate spreadsheets
Managing online guest reviews, responding to feedback, and investigating complaints
Turning guest issues into positive outcomes
Supporting the management team with additional administrative tasks as required

About You

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a genuine can-do attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on new challenges.

Essential skills and attributes:

Excellent customer service and communication skills, including a confident telephone manner
Fluent spoken and written English
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
Computer literate, with essential experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
A keen eye for detail and accurate handling of guest data
Flexible, adaptable, and open to new company processes
Able to remain calm under pressure and turn complaints into success stories

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience in a similar reservations or guest relations role
Hospitality industry knowledge

Full training will be provided.
