The School of Business, Health and Uniformed Services plays a vital role in the College’s ability to respond to local and regional business needs whilst serving the community we are so proudly a part of. The provision of Counselling is an area where we believe new energies, ideas, innovation and subject leadership will have a profound change effect and we are looking for an exceptional candidate to work with us to achieve this.

We have an exciting opportunity for a new role in the school as a Curriculum Leader for our Counselling provision. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is able to lead our team of experienced and dedicated teachers to deliver impactful teaching, learning and skills development across our growing provision of Level 2 to 4 and HE courses. You will have the drive to monitor and implement continuous quality improvement whilst ensuring the integrity of our well recognised and professionally standing qualifications is maintained.

The department regards the performance and achievement of each individual student as a priority and work tirelessly to ensure that all students exceed beyond expectations in every aspect of their course. We are a hardworking and committed team very much looking for a leader who can share, maintain and help build our levels of aspiration, leading by example as we create the most employable students geared for the demands of the counselling industry.

Salary: Job Family Group 2, £46,341 - £52,172 (SCP36-40) per annum, pro rata depending on qualifications and experience

Hours: 1.0FTE, 37 hours per week
