Marketing Manager Furniture Outlet
Furniture Outlet is entering an exciting stage of growth. Over the next five years, our plan is to expand to 20 stores while significantly growing our website and online presence, creating a much larger platform for the Furniture Outlet brand across both physical retail and ecommerce.
We already have a major social media presence, with over 250,000 followers on Facebook, 140,000 followers on Instagram and over 10 million views per month across the two platforms. For a furniture retailer, this is a huge audience and gives us a powerful platform to build from.
With this level of reach, ambition and store/ecommerce expansion ahead, this role is not just about managing marketing today. For the right person, we see this developing into a Marketing Director position in the coming years as the business continues to scale.
We are looking for an organised, commercially minded and creative Marketing Manager with 2+ years’ experience in marketing, social media, content or brand management to lead our marketing activity, manage our content team and turn our product and store plans into clear, effective campaigns.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you will plan and deliver marketing across social media, website content, paid ads, product launches, in-store campaigns and new store openings.
You will manage the marketing calendar, brief content creators, coordinate product shoots, work closely with buyers, approve creative output and review performance.
You will not be expected to create every photo, video or design yourself. Your focus will be on setting direction, managing people and making sure marketing is delivered on time, on brand and in line with business goals.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, creative and commercially aware. You should have at least 2 years’ experience in marketing, social media, content or brand management, and be confident managing people, projects and deadlines.
You will be able to turn business priorities into clear marketing plans and work closely with buyers, stores, senior management and creative teams.
You do not need to be behind the camera every day, but you do need to know what good content looks like and how to direct others to create it.
This role would suit someone excited by retail, interiors, social media and growth, with the ambition to progress into a more senior marketing leadership role as the business expands.
