Full job description

Job Summary

The Nexus Globe Ltd is seeking a proactive IT Technician to support the day-to-day IT operations of our business. As a company specialising in the wholesale of brand-new and used mobile phones, alongside operating an e-commerce store for health and beauty products, you will ensure our hardware, software, network, and business systems remain secure, reliable, and efficient to support office, warehouse, and online operations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and business software.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and company applications.
Manage and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, and TCP/IP connectivity.
Administer Active Directory, user accounts, file permissions, and Windows Server environments.
Support inventory, warehouse, and e-commerce systems by resolving hardware and software issues.
Monitor IT infrastructure, perform routine maintenance, software updates, and system backups.
Maintain IT equipment and software asset records.
Resolve IT support requests using helpdesk systems and provide timely assistance to users.
Assist in implementing cybersecurity measures to protect company systems and data.

Requirements

Experience in an IT Support or IT Technician role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and networking (LAN, TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, routers, and firewalls).
Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with helpdesk or ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to support users in a fast-paced wholesale and e-commerce environment.

Pay: £41,700.00 per year
