Full job description

JOIN THE BRITISH BAKELS TEAM

We are recruiting for a production operative at our bakery ingredients manufacturing site in Bicester.

Double days (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday) – Salary £31,724.60per annum starting rate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Manufacture and pack products in line with the Production Plan, highlighting any variances in Manufacturing Standards to the Team Leader or Shift Manager
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed at all time
Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed and PPE is worn correctly at all times
Report any accidents, incidents or near misses promptly to your shift manager
Keep work areas and equipment clean and tidy at all times
Build and maintain positive relationships with your colleagues
Undertake training as required, to become skilled in all areas of the department
Support the British Bakels quality, health and food safety culture

To be considered for this role, you must have a reasonable standard of written and spoken English, good attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
