Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an additional yard Person to join our team at Gulworthy, Tavistock.
Experience within the timber/builders' merchant industry is useful however a can-do attitude and willingness to learn is an important requirement.
This is a multi skilled position but full training will be provided.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Awareness and knowledge of stock in our yard, to assist customers and load up their vehicles
- Picking customer orders
- Moving stock around the yard and putting away deliveries
- Keeping the yard tidy and free from hazards
- Serving our customers in the yard
- Maintaining our excellent Health & safety record
- Driving reach and counterbalance forklifts
- Driving company vehicles for deliveries.
- Complete pre use vehicle checks.
- Working with other members of the team to ensure work is completed efficiently
- Any other duties as required by the company.
Working hours are Mon- Fri 08.00 - 17.00
Alternate Saturdays 08.00 - 12 noon
