Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to senior care, and the ability to follow care plans effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to supervising daily activities and ensuring the well-being of residents.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
Supervise and engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and physical well-being.
Maintain a clean and safe environment within the care home.
Document any changes in resident behaviour or health status accurately.
Drive residents to appointments or outings as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
Collaborate with other staff members to provide leadership in delivering high-quality care.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or senior care environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise others effectively.
Proficient IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with residents and their families.
A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to seniors is essential.
