Full job description

Pastry Chef

As a Pastry Chef, you will play a key role in our high-performing kitchen brigade. Working in a well-equipped environment and under the guidance of our talented Head Chef, you’ll create a variety of delicious desserts and pastry items, and other food items, all while developing your skills. Afternoon Teas are a celebrated highlight at the hotel, and your creativity and attention to detail will ensure they remain a memorable experience for every guest. You will take full ownership of the Pastry section, ensuring every guest enjoys a first-class culinary experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the ordering and proper storage of all pastry-related ingredients.
Support colleagues across other kitchen sections as needed.
Prepare food items in a timely, consistent, and hygienic manner.
Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure high-quality output.
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Oversee the Pastry section before, during, and after service.
Ensure all food stock is safely stored, labeled, and dated in line with food safety regulations and company policy.

You have a genuine passion for pastry and high-quality ingredients, paired with a creative flair and attention to detail. You’re motivated, goal-driven, and take pride in delivering exceptional results whether working independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
