Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Bar Assistant with previous work experience to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. This role offers flexible hours. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting bar operations, serving drinks, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Restock supplies as needed to ensure efficient service during busy periods
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
Support team members in delivering exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
Experience in serving drinks and handling cash transactions is beneficial
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
