Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) / Estimator
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday (No Weekends)

The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our state-of-the-art Accident Repair Centre. You will be the technical heart of our operation, ensuring every vehicle is assessed with precision and that repair plans meet both manufacturer standards and insurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate Estimating: Use Audatex (& GT Motive) to produce comprehensive, cost-effective repair estimates.
- Technical Inspections: Conduct physical and digital assessments to identify primary and secondary damage, including ADAS and EV-specific requirements.
- Liaison: Confidently negotiate with insurance engineers and keep customers informed throughout their "repair journey."
- Compliance: Ensure all estimates comply with BS10125 standards and manufacturer-approved methods.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Workshop Manager and Parts Department to ensure a smooth flow of work and minimal "key-to-key" time.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven track record as a VDA within a busy bodyshop or accident repair environment (Minimum 5 years).
- Certification: ATA / IMI VDA Accreditation is highly preferred (if expired, we can support your re-accreditation).
- Tech Savvy: Expert knowledge of Audatex and a solid understanding of modern vehicle construction (including EVs).
- Communication: A professional manner with the ability to explain technical repairs to non-technical customers.
- License: A full, valid UK Driving License.
