ReConnect Gloucestershire CIC is looking for a motivated and relationship-focused Fundraiser to help grow and sustain our services for people affected by stroke and aphasia across Gloucestershire.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our future, driving income generation, and expanding our impact within local communities.
About the Role
You will lead the delivery of our income generation strategy, developing funding opportunities and building strong relationships with funders, partners, and supporters.
Working closely with our small, friendly team, you will help ensure our services continue to reduce isolation and support recovery through connection, friendship, and shared experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Development
- Lead delivery of our income generation strategy
- Identify opportunities to support organisational growth and sustainability
- Stay up to date with fundraising trends and funding opportunities
Income Generation
- Research and apply for funding from trusts, foundations and statutory funders
- Develop and manage a pipeline of funding opportunities
- Write strong funding applications, reports and proposals
- Explore new income streams, including community fundraising, events and corporate partnerships
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with funders, donors and partners
- Act as a key point of contact for funders, ensuring excellent communication and stewardship
- Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers and Board members to support fundraising activity
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track fundraising income against targets
- Support accurate and timely reporting to funders
- Contribute to impact monitoring through data and case studies
About You
Essential
- Fundraising experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and persuasive applications
- Good IT skills, including email, presentations and social media
- Well organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Access to your own transport for travel across Gloucestershire (mileage expenses covered)
- A genuine passion for supporting inclusive communities
Desirable:
- Experience working in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.
- A good understanding of the statutory and community-sector landscape in Gloucestershire.
- Knowledge of the Gloucestershire funding landscape.
What We Offer
- Salary: £18,000 (£30,000 FTE)
- Hours: 0.6 FTE (3 days per week)
- Contract: Fixed term to December 2028 (with potential extension)
- Location: Stonehouse, with travel across Gloucestershire
- 25 days annual leave pro rata + bank holidays (pro rata)

About Us
ReConnect Gloucestershire CIC supports people affected by stroke through peer support and activity groups and befriending across the county.
We focus on reducing isolation and rebuilding confidence, independence and connection. Our groups include social, creative and activity-based sessions such as art, nature and Aphasia Choirs, delivered both in person and online.
All our services are free, because nobody should face recovery after a stroke alone.
