Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Asphalt Surfacing/Rake Hand to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and application of asphalt surfacing materials.

recruiting for a Asphlat/Tarmac Surfacing Rakehand, to join our Surfacing Teams**

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Rakehand and have knowledge of working with all types of surfacing materials, on roads, footpaths, driveways, car parks etc. Must have eye for detail and be able to rake to a high standard!

The position is full time, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.

Complete daily and weekly records.
Working with and leading a team.
Self-motivated and driven

Your expertise will contribute to the quality and durability of road surfaces, ensuring a smooth finish that meets industry standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of asphalt materials for surfacing projects
Operate rakes and other hand tools to spread and level asphalt
Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and tools used on-site
Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered
Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £20.00 per hour
