Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Handyman/woman to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our sites by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, and functional environment.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and prevent potential issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, decoration, doors, windows, and fixtures to ensure optimal operation.
Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are upheld.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally from staff or visitors.
Occasionally helping our Grounds Maintenance team, with grass cutting, strimming and weeding.

Experience

Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles within commercial or domestic environments.
Electrical experience (Wanted but not necessary)
Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical and plumbing work.
Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in overseeing maintenance tasks or teams is preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English to clearly document work orders, safety reports, and interact with team members annd clients effectively.
