Full job description

This is a busy practice with a solid work load that requires continuity in our staff. The buildings and projects we are involved with is wide and varied so there is little chance of getting stuck working on the same thing day after day.

You will be based at our Exeter office and our work is mostly in the nearby area and throughout the south west with much of it in the rural parts of Devon. With north and south coasts and Dartmoor in between, there are a lot of good reasons to move to this area if you are not already here.

Experienced Graduated Design Engineer

We are currently for a graduate Engineer with some experience under their belt and with a willingness to be thrown in to design work on a range of projects from small domestic work and upward under the supervision of experienced Engineers and in support of them. As you can see from the contents of this web site, our work includes interesting and challenging work on historic buildings from churches to cob cottages as well as new and innovative sustainable construction and there is very little repetition. The ability to produce drawings in Auto Cad is essential but to be able to draw by hand is also a skill that would be valued. We are also looking for someone who is willing to learn new and old techniques and develop
