This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their marketing career to gain experience in campaign support, content creation, social media, events and reporting while working with an established and people-focused business at the heart of rural Scotland.

What you’ll be doing
- Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Content Creation: Draft social media posts, website updates, email newsletters, and basic promotional materials in line with brand guidelines.
- Social Media Management: Monitor social channels, schedule posts, engage with audiences, and report on performance metrics.
- Market & Competitor Research: Gather insights to support campaign planning, audience targeting, and product positioning.
- Event & Project Support: Help organise events, webinars, and promotional activities, including logistics, materials, and follow‑up communications.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key marketing metrics, compile reports, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, and external partners to support marketing initiatives.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain marketing calendars, update databases, manage assets, and support day‑to‑day team operations.
- Represent Ringlink externally: From time to time, you'll spend time in our offices across Scotland, and conduct site/farm visits, gathering information and content from our teams, pre-apprentices/mentors, and members. You'll also regularly represent us at events (e.g. Royal Highland Show, Careers Fairs etc).
About you
Skills & Attributes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Comfortable using social media platforms and basic digital tools
- Willingness to learn new software and marketing techniques
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Analytical thinking and curiosity about audience behaviour
- Team‑oriented, proactive, and adaptable
- Driving Licence & willingness to travel when required (within Scotland)
Preferred Experience (Not Essential)
- Experience (paid or voluntary) in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics
- Basic understanding of SEO, content marketing, or paid advertising
- Experience creating content for social media
- Knowledge of the land-based/rural sector would be advantageous
Education
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related discipline
- OR
- Equivalent experience demonstrating interest and capability in marketing
What this role offers
- Salary in the region of £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week), based in Laurencekirk
