Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic detail-oriented Print Room Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up print ready artwork, operating printing equipment and supporting associated processes within a busy print and production environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of associated softwares, be capable of handling various tools, and demonstrate physical resilience for heavy lifting tasks. Duties
- Operate and monitor printing machinery to ensure high-quality output and efficiency.
- routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimise downtime.
- Handle heavy materials and supplies, ensuring safe lifting practices are followed at all times.
- Organise and maintain the print room workspace, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
- Support warehouse activities such as inventory management and material handling related to print jobs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- good skills with the following applications - illustrator, acrobat, photoshop, word, powerpoint
- Experience in print production and related equipment preferred but not essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during daily operations.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining equipment and workspace standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
