Location: 24hr Control Centre for Out of Hours Emergencies, Hamilton Business Unit, Pollock Avenue, Hamilton
Hours: Zero Hours / Sessional
Hourly Rate: £16.07 per hour

We are looking for flexible and reliable Sessional Call Handling Assistant to support our busy customer service team during peak periods. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work that fits around other commitments.

You will handle inbound and/or outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and ensuring every interaction meets our high standards.

This role is ideal for:

College and University students looking for work during term breaks, holidays, or flexible hours around studies
Individuals seeking flexible casual work
People who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

We particularly welcome applications from students who can provide additional cover during peak seasons, holidays, and high-demand periods.

Key Responsibilities

Handling customer enquiries via telephone for the Out of Hours Emergency Service
Providing accurate information and resolving issues
Delivering a high standard of customer service
Supporting team targets during busy periods

What We’re Looking For

Excellent communication and listening skills
A positive, customer-focused attitude
Ability to work flexibly at short notice
Good basic IT skills
Reliability and a strong work ethic

Previous contact centre experience is helpful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
