We are currently recruiting fabricators due to expansion of the business.
The Role
As a fabricator with Swan Engineering Ltd you will be joining a well established and rapidly growing organization with state of the art manufacturing facilities and a very bright future ahead.
The successful candidates will be working within a team of welding and fabrication personnel, duties will include building complex equipment from drawings, welding using mig and tig processes. We manufacture a vast range of different products and bespoke jobs so initiative, problem solving skills, broad ability and efficiency are key to this role.
The person
The ideal candidate would be a time served fabricator/sheet metal worker, able to read, understand and fully fabricate items from engineering drawings from start to finish. MIG and TIG welding essential.
Salary is negotiable depending on skill level. Starting rate of £17 per hour. 30 days annual holiday on an accrual basis, rising to 33 days after 5 years.
Overtime is available and paid at 1.5 x or 2 x wage depending on day/time.
40 hour week - Mon- Thu: 0700-1630, Fri: 0700-1100. Or Mon-Fri: 0800-1630.

Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in this role is essential.
- MIG and TIG experience is essential.
- Experience fabricating stainless steel is critical.
- Site experience advantageous but not essential.
- FLT, MEWP, CSCS etc tickets would all be advantageous
