Job Title: Sessional Nursery Assistant.

Location: Tedi Bach Flying Start.

Salary: £12.71 P/H.

Contracted Hours: 15 hours per week. Mon-Fri Term Time Only As per FS requirements

Contract: Permanent (As per FS Contract)

Closing Date: 31st July

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role involves supporting the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, and fostering their development through engaging play and educational experiences.

Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Supervise children during playtime, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and personal care.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, including toys and equipment.
Observe children's behaviour and development, providing feedback to senior staff as necessary.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is required.
Level 3 CCLD required.
Strong leadership skills to manage small groups of children effectively.
A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to drive engaging activities that support children's growth.
Experience in managing children's behaviour positively and constructively.
