Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in electrical work who are committed to delivering high-quality results.

Duties

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing faults efficiently.
Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards or malfunctions within electrical systems.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts utilised for each task.
Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance sector.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of current electrical codes and safety standards is essential.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Previous experience working on commercial or industrial projects is advantageous but not mandatory.

This position requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety standards. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.

Pay: £29,049.67-£48,166.17 per year
