Head of Brand Partnerships
Feet On The Street Co | Staff Playbook | Big Boy Brands
Location: London / Hybrid
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000 basic + OTE £65,000+
Commission: Uncapped earning potential
About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Head of Brand Partnerships to join our growing group of businesses and take responsibility for driving new client acquisition and developing strategic relationships across our ecosystem.
This is a unique opportunity to represent three complementary businesses:
Feet On The Street Co – a field marketing and sales agency helping FMCG, food & drink and consumer brands increase distribution, sales and visibility.
Staff Playbook – a talent and recruitment platform connecting brands, agencies and businesses with experienced promotional, events, retail and field marketing talent.
Big Boy Brands – helps FMCG and consumer brands get their products directly into the hands of the people who matter.
Through targeted product boxes, Big Boy Brands connects brands with retailers and retail decision-makers, influencers, TikTok creators and industry professionals across the UK.
Your primary responsibility will be simple: bring new businesses into our ecosystem and turn relationships into revenue.
We are looking for someone who understands the FMCG landscape, knows how to open doors with decision-makers and has a proven track record of winning new business.
This is not a traditional account management role. We need someone who is comfortable prospecting, networking, cold calling, arranging meetings, pitching, negotiating and closing.
What You'll Be Doing - New Business Development
- Identify and target potential clients across FMCG, food & drink, retail, convenience, foodservice, hospitality, events and consumer brands.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Proactively generate new business through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, events and face-to-face meetings.
- Arrange and lead commercial meetings and presentations with senior decision-makers.
- Understand a prospect's challenges and identify opportunities across our three businesses.
- Develop compelling commercial proposals and pitches.
- Negotiate contracts and successfully close new business.
- Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
Brand Partnerships
- Build long-term relationships with brand owners, marketing directors, sales directors, commercial directors, category managers, agencies and other senior decision-makers.
- Develop strategic partnerships rather than transactional sales.
- Identify opportunities to introduce clients to multiple services within our group.
- Become a trusted commercial partner to our clients and understand their wider business objectives.
- Grow existing relationships and identify opportunities for additional revenue.
FMCG & Industry Development
- Develop a strong understanding of the FMCG and consumer brand landscape.
- Identify emerging brands, established brands and businesses that could benefit from our services.
- Attend relevant industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
- Build your own network of senior contacts across the industry.
- Monitor market trends and identify new commercial opportunities for the group.
Internal Collaboration
You will work closely with the founders and wider teams across:
- Feet On The Street Co
- Staff Playbook
- Big Boy Brands
The successful candidate will be expected to understand how the three businesses complement each other and identify opportunities to cross-sell and create greater value for clients.
For example, a brand may initially engage Feet On The Street Co for field sales but subsequently require promotional staff through Staff Playbook or Big Boy Brands to help them get their products into the right hands, in front of the right people, with measurable results.
Your role is to identify those opportunities and build the relationship.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Proven track record in B2B sales and new business development.
- Experience working with FMCG, food & drink, retail, consumer brands or an associated sector.
- Demonstrable success in winning new clients and generating revenue.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG and brand ecosystem.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Confident speaking with senior decision-makers.
- Comfortable with cold calling and proactive prospecting.
- Highly commercially aware and target driven.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and capable of working independently.
- Professional, credible and confident in client-facing environments.
Desirable
- Existing network of FMCG brand contacts.
- Experience selling marketing, field marketing, experiential, staffing, recruitment, distribution or related services.
- Experience working with brand owners, marketing teams, sales teams or agencies.
- Experience selling into retail, convenience, foodservice or hospitality.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline using a CRM.
- Existing relationships with UK FMCG brands would be highly advantageous.
What Success Looks Like
We want someone who can make a measurable commercial impact.
Your success will be measured against:
- New clients acquired.
- New revenue generated.
- Sales pipeline value.
- Conversion rate.
- Number and quality of senior relationships developed.
- Growth of existing client accounts.
- Cross-selling opportunities generated across the three businesses.
- Achievement against monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
The Opportunity
This is a genuine opportunity to become a key commercial figure within a growing group of businesses.
You won't be restricted to selling one product or service.
Instead, you'll have access to a wider ecosystem of commercial solutions, giving you multiple routes into prospective clients and significantly more opportunities to generate revenue.
We are looking for someone who wants to build something, not simply manage an existing sales territory.
If you have the experience, network, commercial instinct and hunger to win new business, there is significant earning potential and scope to grow with the business.
Salary & Benefits
- £30,000 basic salary
- OTE £65,000+
- Uncapped commission/bonus structure
- Full-time position
- Hybrid working
- Significant autonomy and responsibility
- Opportunity to work directly with the founders
- Opportunity to attend industry events and networking opportunities
- Career progression as the group continues to grow
- Opportunity to build and own a significant portfolio of brand partnerships
