As part of Rehlko’s global energy‑resilience network, Wiltech continues to build on its long‑standing reputation as a leading UK manufacturer of acoustic canopies, generator enclosures, and industrial noise‑control engineering solutions.

Our fully integrated manufacturing site in Loughborough manages every stage of production in‑house from raw material processing and fabrication through to welding, painting, and final assembly of bespoke acoustic units.

Joining Wiltech now means becoming part of a strengthened and well‑funded organisation with significant opportunities emerging through the Rehlko transition. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Inspector.

The Role

The role oversees the full quality verification process, reviewing approved drawings and specifications, assessing workmanship quality, validating tolerances and finishes, and ensuring all elements meet technical and aesthetic requirements. Acting as the final quality gatekeeper, the inspector raises and tracks snagging lists, ensures non‑conformances are resolved, verifies corrective actions, and confirms full compliance before sign‑off.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9000:2015 standards, driving quality improvement actions.
Inspect and verify welds and fabricated components meet industry standards and project specifications.
Coordinate and manage welding and manufacturing documentation, including quality records and specifications.
Oversee welding methods, procedures, and ensure non-conformance issues are identified, rectified, and retested.
Ensure consistent high-quality fabrication and welding processes, managing calibration and equipment monitoring.
Maintain safe and clean working environments, ensuring correct fabrication, welding procedures, and equipment usage.
Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to maintain welding procedure conformity and assist in welder qualifications.
Conduct internal audits throughout the audit cycle and drive associated improvement activities.
