Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is preferred, training will be provided. The successful applicant will contribute to the overall success of our establishment by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
Ensure all drinks are prepared promptly while maintaining quality standards
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment and promote repeat business

Qualifications

Previous experience is desirable, training will be provided for suitable candidates
Good knowledge of food safety standards and alcohol licensing regulations
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
A responsible attitude towards health and safety procedures
