Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role involves managing a small team and taking charge on-site with general labour tasks across various sites. The majority of the projects will comprise of tarmac and concrete works. Prior experience in industrial works/sites is recommended.

Shifts will be 7:30 - 3:30 Mon-Fri

Requirements

Safely operate company vans with the ability to tow safely.
Loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling and securement during transit.
Carry out heavy lifting tasks as required, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and managers regarding work schedules or operational updates.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and vehicles.
Follow all health and safety regulations including the correct workwear.
Workwear is not supplied
A HAUC card would be seen as valuable but not mandatory
Valid driver’s licence.

Experience

Previous experience with towing heavy loads or as a commercial driver is preferred.
Familiarity with tarmac and landscaping.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
Experience in driving commercial vehicles or lorries will be considered an asset.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
