Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Scaffolder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly, dismantling, and inspection of scaffolding structures on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work at heights in diverse environments. Duties
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications
- Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding to ensure stability and safety throughout the project duration
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, electricians, and masons to facilitate seamless workflow
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications related to scaffolding layouts
- Maintain accurate records of scaffolding inspections and modifications
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order and used safely
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times during scaffold assembly and disassembly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scaffolders with advanced skills in complex scaffold structures
- Strong knowledge of construction trades including carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, fabrication, and use of hand tools and power tools
- Valid certification in scaffolding operations recognised by relevant authorities
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret engineering plans accurately
- Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations related to working at heights and construction sites
- Physical fitness to work at heights for extended periods and handle heavy materials safely
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
