The Opportunity
As a Store Manager, you will be the commercial and operational leader of an Audley Travel concession within a retail store, with accountability for overall store performance, including sales, conversion, profitability, service standards, and team leadership.

You will lead and develop a team of Personal Travel Experts and an Assistant Manager, while also actively selling and supporting client demand. You will create a proactive, relationship-led sales culture, grow local market presence, and ensure a consistently premium client experience aligned to the Audley Way.

Key responsibilities include:

Store Performance & Sales

Own overall store performance, including sales, conversion, profitability, and service delivery
Drive a proactive sales culture that converts footfall and builds a strong future pipeline
Actively sell holidays and step in to support client demand where required

Team Management

Lead, recruit, coach and performance manage the store team
Conduct regular 1-2-1s and performance reviews to support development
Set clear objectives and development plans for team members
Create a culture of engagement, collaboration and accountability

Client Experience

Champion a client-first culture, ensuring exceptional service at every stage and embed the Audley Way
Ensure strong client ownership and seamless collaboration with Country Specialists
Act as escalation point for client issues and resolve effectively

Commercial & Local Growth

Grow local pipeline through marketing, events, partnerships and networking
Build and maintain Audley’s presence within the local community
Drive repeat business and long-term client relationships

Operations & Leadership

Ensure effective rota planning, coverage, and store operations
Act as the senior Audley representative in store
Share insights and feedback to support continuous improvement

This is a full time opportunity with flexible shift patterns across the week. You'll work 37 hours per week, worked across 5 days out of 7, including evening and weekend shifts as part of a rota, and colleagues will typically enjoy one full weekend off each month.

Store opening hours: Monday–Saturday: 9:00am–6:00pm | Sunday: 10:30am–4:30pm

What You’ll Bring to the Team
You’ll bring proven experience leading a team in a travel sales or premium service-led environment, with a strong track record of delivering sales performance and driving commercial results.

Additional experience required:

Confident coaching and developing others to achieve high performance
Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on selling
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and able to build relationships internally and externally
Passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
Good understanding of Office 365 including MS Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
