Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Scaffold Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work efficiently at heights. Responsibilities
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the project duration.
- Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble scaffolding frameworks accurately.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with site preparation and support other construction activities as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in scaffolding assembly or related construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry is preferred.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, and safety protocols related to scaffold building.
- Experience working with plumbing, electrical systems, or welding is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with working at heights and in various weather conditions is desirable.
